By Patrick Colbeck

In the wake of the 2020 election, I exhorted the importance of addressing the election fraud that occurred in 2020. Many clueless or complicit politicos pushed the message that we needed to focus upon 2022 election. The politicos won the priority battle. As a result, states like Michigan had significant losses in 2022.

Now, the fraud mechanisms used to steal the 2020 election have been enshrined in statutes passed by officials who likely should not be in office and enshrined in our constitution by ballot proposals that likely didn’t merit passage. Many of our legislatures are likely controlled by illegitimate office holders. Rather than enforce our election laws, law enforcement has been used as a tool of intimidation by those holding office. Furthermore, the blindfold is fully off Lady Justice and our courts are actively sanctioning any lawyers who seek to introduce election fraud cases.

So, in this environment, what can we do in preparation for the 2024 election?

Problem

Before we can ever hope to solve the problem of election fraud, we need to understand how elections are stolen. I go over this in significant detail in my book The 2020 Coup: What Happened? What Can We Do? In my book, I reveal how the evidence collected in the wake of the 2020 election indicates that there were four distinct phases in the theft of the election.

  • Phase 1- Preparation: Creation and expansion of weaknesses in election system.
  • Phase 2 – Main Attack: Mail-in ballot fraud.
  • Phase 3 – Backup Attack: Machine-based fraud.
  • Phase 4 – Defense: Prevention of any discussion of previous three phases.

For the sake of this post, however, I would like to focus upon the fraud mechanisms featured in Phases 2 and 3 – Mail-in Ballot Fraud and Machine-based Fraud.

Mail-In Ballot Fraud

Mail-in ballot fraud is designed to never be detected. What happens when someone suspects fraud in an election? They call for a recount. How does a recount of ballots reveal mail-in ballot fraud? It doesn’t. Mail-in ballot fraud involves matching low propensity or fictitious voters in a registered voter database to ballots. Once a fake voter has cast a real ballot, it is too late. The fake vote gets mixed in with all of the real votes yielding a fraudulent election result. Mail-in ballot fraud is enabled by dirty voter rolls and access to these voter rolls by non-government organizations.

Machine-Based Fraud

Machine-based fraud takes on many forms. There is a common theme, however. Electronic voting systems connected to the internet serve as “digital spies”.

As spies, they are able to provide sensitive election information such as who has voted or what the current vote tally is to anyone who has access to these machines. There are a significant number of non-government organizations who have access to these machines. With this access, they also have early access to sensitive election records such as voter history and election results not available to the general public until after the polls are closed or the results have been certified.

In addition to this access, they also have the ability to modify voter records and election results. Unlike mail-in ballot fraud, any direct modification of election results entails significant risk to the perpetrators. Direct manipulation of vote tallies would be detectable by a recount. In order to avoid detection of vote tally changes, existing ballots must be replaced by ballots that align with the adjusted vote tallies. Furthermore, poll books tracking voter history would need to be adjusted to align with the number of ballots inserted. In order to cover their tracks without detection, any scheme to modify vote tallies directly via manipulation of election results stored in electronic voting systems therefore requires cooperation from people on the ground in the affected jurisdictions.

Solution

One can view the challenge of eliminating election fraud as a high stakes chess game. Those behind the fraud have many “chess pieces” in their arsenal. As much as investigators such as myself would like to make one move and achieve “check mate”, after three years of intense investigation I have resigned myself to taking a more pragmatic approach that involves taking out their chess pieces one by one until they are left without any pieces on the board. As we do so, it is important for the general public to observe the removal of these chess pieces. To date, this observation has been extremely difficult due to what I refer to as Phase 4 of the 2020 Coup, but we have evidence of cracks in their armor as the truth is gradually exposed.

I am convinced that the only reason they were able to get away with the 2020 Coup was because the majority of Americans bought into the false narrative pushed by the coup conspirators and their accomplices in the media that “the 2020 election was the most secure election in American history.” As the poll indicates, more and more Americans are finally waking up. More and more Americans are seeing fake news chess pieces being removed from the board.

“Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation” – Gone (Durham Report)

“Mail-in ballot fraud is non-existent” – Gone (2000 Mules)

“Our electronic voting systems are secure” – Gone (Halderman Report)

So, we are moving the needle in the information war. How do we win it?

In a word, the solution is “transparency”. Light dispels darkness. We need to shine the light of transparency on all that has happened, is happening and is likely to happen regarding our elections.

Monitor Elections

First things first. We need to monitor elections as poll workers, poll challengers and poll watchers. Providing a physical presence in the oversight of key election processes is a burdensome but necessary cost of living in a free society. Being present, however, is not sufficient if we are to prevent election fraud or hold people accountable for election fraud. Prior to observing an election, we need to study election law and election procedures including how to challenge an illegal election action. It is very important to have legal assistance on standby to assist with the filing of complaints pertinent to these illegal actions so be prepared with a lawyer on speed dial. Political parties and election watchdog organizations often have training and hotlines in place towards this end. Contact one of these organizations in your area to better prepare for monitoring elections.

Clean Voter Rolls

Mail-in ballot fraud is enabled by dirty voter rolls and sloppy maintenance of voter history data.

Voter rolls are “dirty” when they contain voters which are deceased, no longer live at a given address, or are associated with an invalid address (e.g. business address or apartment without an apartment number). Anyone with access to a list of voters that are unlikely to vote will be able to fraudulently request and submit ballots on behalf of these voters.

By law in Michigan (MCL 168.813), the state Qualified Voter File (QVF) must be updated within 7 days of an election. Under MCL 168.509q, the QVF must include the voter history data that is captured in poll books on election day. Despite these requirements and despite the efforts of local clerks to update these records, the MI QVF features significant volatility in voter history data even years after a given election. The lack of voter history integrity opens the door to multiple avenues of election fraud including the disposal of ballots before they are counted or the swapping of an in-person ballot with an absentee ballot with a different vote profile.

Thankfully, volunteers at CheckMyVote.org have now provided tools for Michigan citizens to check the integrity of both the voter rolls and voter history data.

In addition to tools for citizens to check on election record fidelity, they have also provided tools to assist clerks in cleaning up their voter rolls.

As you assist your local clerk in the cleaning of voter rolls, please keep in mind that there have been several instances of local clerks cleaning up their voter rolls only to have them “dirtied” by people with state-level access to the QVF.

Promote Election Integrity Scorecard

It is incumbent upon anyone who claims that there is no election integrity to provide a substantive definition of what constitutes election integrity. That is the goal of another tool under development by the volunteers at CheckMyVote.org called the Election Integrity Scorecard. The scorecard defines election integrity as a function of five measures tracked for each election:

  • Chain of Custody Integrity
    • # Voters in QVF = # Voters in Poll Books
    • # Voters <= # Eligible Voters
    • # Voters = Ballots Cast
    • # Votes <= # Ballots Cast
  • Voter Roll Integrity
    • # Dead People
    • # People Moved Out of Jurisdiction
    • # Records Flagged During Canvassing
  • Voter History Integrity
    • # Dead People
    • # Moved Out of Jurisdiction
    • # Records Flagged During Canvassing
    • Voter Turnout %
  • Transparency
    • Election Results Reporting
    • Voter Rolls Reporting
    • FOIA Requests Responsiveness
  • Statutory Compliance
    • Ballots cast postings
    • Public accuracy test
    • Poll challenger access

The current prototype for this tool is shown below.

Current Election Integrity Scorecard Prototype Under Development

The CheckMyVote.org organization seeks to prepare a scorecard for every precinct, municipality, county and state in the nation. The population of the scorecard ratings is performed through a transparent set of public data and data generated by election watchdog organizations within each state. All of this data will be downloadable by interested parties.

The scorecard serves the following purposes:

  • Establish moral high ground in election integrity debate by going beyond talking points to provide substantive measures of election integrity
  • Promote clerks who have been diligent in preserving election integrity
  • Expose clerks in need of additional oversight to ensure election integrity
  • Provide a heat map to enable election integrity watchdog groups to more effectively deploy their resources
  • Encourage ALL jurisdictions to achieve election integrity

The transparency provided by these scorecards will incentivize enhanced election integrity without the addition of a single law or successful lawsuit.

Petition for Equal Access

There is a trend for public officials to outsource more and more of our election processes to non-government organizations. Non-government organizations are not subject to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. This trend effectively deploys an increasing veil of secrecy around the conduct of our elections. If we are to restore confidence in our election results, this veil of secrecy needs to be removed.

One example of a non-government organization access to our sensitive voter registration information is Rock the Vote. They have a Data Sharing Agreement with the Michigan Department of State.

The general public has limited access to voter rolls via FOIA requests that often cost a considerable amount of money. Why wouldn’t the general public have the same access to our voter rolls as Rock the Vote?

Election integrity organizations need to start requesting the same access to sensitive election records provided by government officials to non-government organizations such as Rock the Vote. Denial of such access would violate the equal protection clauses of the U.S. and most state constitutions. In addition, equal access to election records would enhance the quality of information captured in the Election Integrity Scorecards.

Promote Hand Counts

Electronic voting systems tabulate our votes without any oversight by the general public. Even duly-elected clerks are often not allowed to observe all of the details of this process. To make matters worse, the public accuracy tests that are supposed to ensure the general public of the accuracy of the vote tabulation have been revealed to be complete smoke and mirrors in large cities such as Detroit.

In this light, election transparency demands the elimination of electronic voting systems. If you live in a state where you don’t have the ability to pass laws or elect officials that could make that happen, we need to pursue this objective through the sharing of the truth about electronic voting systems.

First we need to expose all of the security vulnerabilities inherent in electronic voting systems. There is ample evidence of these vulnerabilities – particularly before November 3, 2020 when we were allowed to talk about these vulnerabilities in the national news.

Next, we must counter the false narrative that “hand counts are too burdensome.” That’s where the folks at Handcountroadshow.org come in.

Mock Hand Count Process

They have demonstrated that it is possible to count 100 ballots with 5 people in as little as 2 min 30 sec with complete transparency and no need for recount. Remember, ALL of our elections used to feature hand counts.

Non-Stop Election Integrity Oversight

There are numerous national organizations seeking to undermine the integrity of our election systems. Organizations such as Rock the Vote and the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) are well-funded and active at all times not merely in the runup to an election cycle.

In the wake of the 2020 election, there are now numerous national election integrity organizations stepping up to counter the efforts of those who are undermining election integrity. These election integrity organizations are nowhere near as well-funded as their election fraud counterparts, but at least they provide a significant measure of oversight beyond the typical three months before each election. Citizens interested in election integrity would do well to support these organizations with their financial resources, time and promotion via social media as well as other communication channels.

I have firsthand experience working with the following national election integrity groups:

Additional solution components will be presented by Mike Lindell and his Election Crime Bureau (ECB) team (which includes me) at the Election Crime Bureau Summit on August 16-17. The summit can be viewed at LindellEvent.com.

At the ECB Summit, Mike Lindell will reveal “The Plan”. The Plan features additional ways that Americans can honor the challenge issued by Ben Franklin when describing our form of government to an anxious Elizabeth Willing Powel waiting outside the Constitutional Convention of 1787…”a Republic, if you can keep it.”

Conclusion

If you don’t understand how elections are stolen, you will never be able to develop effective solutions to prevent them from being stolen. Once you do have this understanding, you can develop a strategy to combat election fraud and tactics that remove fraudulent chess pieces from our election “chess boards”. The closest that we get to a “just add water” solution to election fraud is TRANSPARENCY. Fraud thrives behind veils of secrecy and privileged access. The 2020 election was stolen in large part due to such veils and special privileges. Regrettably, the current trend in our elections is towards less transparency. The only way for the general public to have confidence in the results of any future election is to ensure that there is more transparency.

Oh…and one last thing. Vote. No amount of election fraud can be overcome if you don’t get out and vote. Voting in large numbers forces those behind election fraud to take bigger risks to achieve their aims. As they take bigger risks, we will have much better chances to expose their fraud via the solutions outlined in this post.
