Solutions amidst a world of sound bites
Emergency Broadcast Forum › General Discussion › Dana Nessel’s failure
At the beginning of the year, the new Washtenaw County prosecutor stated that he would no longer prosecute prostitution in his county. He said that it is a consensual transaction and is not illegal in Europe. As far as I know he did not consult with any local officials on this, and my pleas to the Michigan Attorney General for sanctions against him have gone unheeded.
The AG heads a council of prosecutors which should be engaged to discipline its members. The logic used to justify non prosecution is false on many levels, not to mention dangerous in a Sanctuary city like Ann Arbor. Could this help curb human trafficking in his County? What is Dana Nessel doing about trafficking?
