A court is blocking California megachurch Pastor John MacArthur from holding worship services in the ongoing legal battle with Los Angeles County officials. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge issued a preliminary injunction Thursday after refusing to follow the US and California State constitutional protections for churches.
The order prohibits the Sun Valley church from “conducting, participating in, or attending any indoor worship services” and also bans outdoor worship unless onerous restrictions are followed in a heavy-handed move against the internationally-known preacher and his congregation.
