Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has become one of the most politicized drugs in modern history. Early reports of the drug’s effectiveness in treating COVID-19 from doctors and even President Trump were subject to ridicule, calls for randomized trials not anecdotal studies, censorship, and calls for vaccines as the true solution to our COVID-19 ills.
We now have scientific proof of the effectiveness of HCQ in the treatment of COVID-19 patients which demonstrates that countries which used the drug experienced 73.9% few deaths than countries which did not.
